Marie is a qualified Nutritional Therapist who studied at Patrick Holford’s world-renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London.

Having recently returned to South Africa after living in the UK for over 8 years, she has set up practice in Johannesburg also covering a wide surrounding area as a traveling therapist. 

Whilst living in the UK she wrote a regular monthly nutrition column in a London publication. Marie has a passion for health and fitness, having trained previously as a spinning instructor, and enjoys training for triathlons in her spare time. 

She specialises in weight management, pre-and post pregnancy nutrition including breastfeeding & weaning advice and children’s health. Her other areas of interest include digestive disorders, low/fluctuating energy levels, stress, inflammation, poor immunity and allergies.

Marie is available to conduct talks on nutrition and health by arrangement. She also offers a personal food shopping service to help identity which foods you should and should not be putting in your shopping trolley as well as personalised cooking lessons in the comfort of your own home for preparation of healthy meal alternatives.

She is a member of SAANT and remains a registered practitioner with the Nutritional Therapy Council in the UK and the British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy.
