Ever since she discovered she’d been gypped into assuming someone else could take responsibility for her health by revealing only some of the information available, Jill has been driven by a passion to find the truth about the food we eat and what it does to our bodies.
Jill is a qualified Clinical Nutritionist and Lifestyle Consultant and practices from her home in Stanford in the Overberg region, where she also grows organic vegetables. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Nutrition from the International Academy of Nutrition in Australia and has practiced clinical nutrition since 2002. She coaches people into regaining optimum health whilst avoiding or reversing degenerative disease, writes articles on many aspects of health for different publications and experiences the greatest thrill of her work from the testimonies from people whose health is dramatically recovered through the basic principles of good nutrition and cutting edge whole food supplementation.
Many people from the small towns in the Overberg, whom most natural practitioners never reach, are helped through Nutrition Factory and Jill also does e-consulting around the country and overseas, while being available for talks and presentations on all aspects of her passions
Regular classes for healthy weightloss are held in Stanford as well as Hermanus.
Jill has co-authored a recipe book (‘Nutritious’) with Sally-Ann Creed, focusing on sugar-free, dairy-free and wheat-free dishes and they have a second exciting and topical book planned for publication later this year.
Because of her passions for nutrition, eating and growing good food, Jill also overseas a Blog www.cabbagesandcream.com, which journals regular updates of the vegetable garden and the latest in scientific findings on nutrition.
Jill also oversees a retail website, (www.nutritionfactory.co.za) carrying ranges of whole food supplements of the highest organic quality, as well as nuts, seeds, flours and grains. You can even buy an EcoBox (based on the old hot box idea) from the site.
