Frances is a qualified nutritional therapist, having studied through the Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION) in the UK – one of Europe’s leading schools for training nutritional therapists.
Frances is passionate about nutrition and applying a holistic approach to living. Her goal is to educate people and to provide them with the tools to put the optimum nutrition approach into practice. Not only is she an advocate for the prevention of illness through good nutrition and a positive lifestyle but also in the application of natural health to promote healing and well being.
Also, as a mother of two small children, Frances has firsthand experience in applying the principles of optimum nutrition for children, and in seeing the benefits. She believes wholeheartedly in the importance of pre-conceptual care, a good diet throughout pregnancy and correct weaning to provide a solid foundation of good health for life.
Frances practices in the Northern Suburbs in Cape Town. She also gives talks to various audiences, including corporate, on nutrition related subjects. She has had a number of articles published in various publications, including the South African Journal of Natural Medicine. She also sits on the panel of experts for this publication. Her particular areas of interest include pre-conceptual care, sub-fertility, weaning, digestive health, stress/adrenal fatigue, detoxification, weight loss and female health.
Frances is a member of SAANT.
