After completing a master’s degree in agriculture, with specific interest in organic farming, Sara then went on to study Nutritional Therapy at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London.

Now running a private practise in Somerset West she supports a variety of health imbalances with advice on diet, nutritional supplements, exercise and many aspects of lifestyle. Emphasising the link between our own health and our environment, Sara encourages her clients to buy fresh, local and organic produce.

Sara believes that at the root of illness are stressors (e.g. poor diet, toxicity, lack of sleep, emotional stress) and it is the body’s difficulty in dealing with stressors that leads to health imbalances. Recognizing and understanding these influencing factors is the first step.

Because changing one’s health requires conscious choices, Sara also works with beliefs and behavioural patterns around food and self-care. She helps create awareness as to how clients are nourishing themselves in every aspect of their lives.

Recognising that nutritional therapy is one aspect of wellbeing, Sara keeps abreast of other complementary therapies and specialities and often refers clients to others where further areas of expertise are required.
